					<description><![CDATA[<p>Silica (SiO2) is one of the valuable inorganic multipurpose chemical compounds. It can exist in gel, crystalline and amorphous forms. It is the most abandon material on the earth?s crust. However, manufacture of pure silica is energy intensive. A variety of industrial process, involving conventional raw materials require high furnace temperatures (more than 700 degree C). In our Project, a simple chemical process is described which uses a non-conventional raw material rice husk ash for extraction of silica. Rice Husk ash is one of the most silica rich raw materials containing about 90-98% silica (after complete combustion) among the family of other agro-wastes. Rice husk is a popular boiler fuel and the ash generated usually creates disposal problems. The chemical process discussed not only provides a solution for waste disposal but also recovers a valuable silica product, together with certain useful associate recoveries. The other associate recovery is sodium sulphate. Effluent wash water obtained after washing precipitated silica (wet impure silica) contains sodium sulphate. By evaporation of water in multiple effect evaporators, followed by crystallization, filtration and drying, crystals of sodium sulphate are obtained. The residue ash in sodium silica production can be utilized for making good quality bricks. Retained sodium silicate in residue ash acts as a binder and with incorporation of suitable ingredients high quality bricks can be manufactured. From rough estimation the production of paddy in the country about twenty five million tons of rice husk is obtained from rice mills. This is usually burnt resulting in mounts of ash in and around the mills, causing major health problem and pollution. Using rice husk as the raw material two million tons of pure high grade silica can be produced to meet the high demand of various industries that are using it. The main states with large number of rice mills are Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala etc.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p>Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC) is manufactured from Raw Petroleum Coke (RPC) by the process known as high temperature pyrolysis. The process is carried out in a rotary or vertical kiln at temperatures exceeding 1300 deg C. Calcination of CPC is essentially a high temperature treatment in which the carbon to hydrogen ratio of RPC is increased from 20 to 1000 and above. Calcination is achieved by complete demoisturisation and dehydrogenation of RPC under controlled conditions. During the process molecular rearrangement takes place making the CPC electrically conductive, an essential property required for Aluminium smelting.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p>The energy demand in our country is rising due to an expanding economy, growing population, increasing urbanization, evolving lifestyles and rising spending power. About 98% of the fuel requirement in the road transportation sector is currently met by fossil fuels and the remaining 2% by biofuels. Today, India imports 85%2 of its oil requirement. The Indian economy is expected to grow steadily despite temporary setbacks due to the COVID pandemic. This would result in a further increase of vehicular population which in turn will increase the demand for transportation fuels. Domestic biofuels provide a strategic opportunity to the country, as they reduce the nation’s dependence on imported fossil fuels. In addition, when utilized with appropriate care, biofuels can be environmentally friendly, sustainable energy sources. They can also help generate employment, promote Make in India, Swachh Bharat, doubling of farmers’ incomes and promote Waste to Wealth generation.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p>Development of Medium density fiberboard (MDF) and fibre board has been consequential<br />
to man's quest for optimum utilization of timber and wood wastes which earlier were<br />
used mainly as fuel.</p>
<p>Initial development of Medium density fiberboard (MDF) board took place in Germany<br />
during the Second World War when its timber supplies were practically cut-off from the<br />
supplying countries. Medium density fiberboard (MDF) board plants were set up in<br />
postwar West Germany to meet the demand for reconstruction. In the fifties Medium<br />
density fiberboard (MDF) board manufacturing plants were set up in Europe and USA. The<br />
industry has now developed throughout the world.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p>The term CPP is used in the plastics industry to describe polypropylene-based films produced by a cast extrusion process (Cast Polypropylene). Although there are some CPP films used for hygiene applications and synthetic paper (usually involving fillers and other additives), the term CPP is usually used to refer to high clarity films targeting lamination, metallization and packaging applications. The rapid quench achieved with chill rolls results in excellent film clarity and gloss.</p>
<p>CPP film, cast polypropylene film cast polypropylene, also known as unstretched polypropylene film, can be divided into general CPP (General CPP, referred to as GCPP) film, aluminized CPP (Metalize CPP, referred to as MCPP) film and Cooking grade CPP (Retort CPP, RCPP for short) film.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p>Chromite is a crystalline mineral composed primarily of iron (II) oxide and chromium<br />
(III) oxide compounds. It can be represented by the chemical formula of FeCr2O4. It is<br />
an oxide mineral belonging to the spinel group. The element magnesium can substitute<br />
for iron in variable amounts as it forms a solid solution with magnesiochromite<br />
(MgCr2O4).[6] A substitution of the element aluminium can also occur, leading to<br />
hercynite (FeAl2O4).Chromite today is mined particularly to make stainless steel<br />
through the production of ferrochrome (FeCr), which is an iron-chromium alloy. Chromite<br />
is iron-black in color with a metallic luster, a dark brown streak and hardness on the<br />
Mohs scale of 5.5.</p>
<p>Chromite ore is a strategic mineral. It is a combination of chromite minerals and<br />
gangue minerals that are separated through the beneficiation process after mining.<br />
Mineral beneficiation of chromite ore is the exploitation of physical properties, such<br />
as density and chemical, magnetic, and surface characteristics, to produce<br />
concentrates.</p>

<p>These types of films differ from BOPP (Biaxially-Oriented Polypropylene) because they<br />
are not oriented. Orientation is a process that increases the tensile strength of film<br />
in a specific direction by stretching or rolling. Strictly speaking, CPP films<br />
experience a small amount of orientation, but only in the Machine Direction (MD), due<br />
to the nature of the process.</p>
<p>Metallised films (or metallized films) are polymer films coated with a thin layer of<br />
metal, usually aluminium. They offer the glossy metallic appearance of an aluminium<br />
foil at a reduced weight and cost. Metallised films are widely used for decorative<br />
purposes and food packaging, and also for specialty applications including insulation<br />
and electronics.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p>Shock Absorbers are used in all kind of vehicle like two wheelers, Three wheelers<br />
(including Electric Vehicles),cars, trucks, Bus, Railway engines(8 Types) and Boggis<br />
(60 Types) etc.</p>
<p>Early in 1970 automobiles were simple in design, lacking many features we take for<br />
granted today, from seat belts to shock absorbers. An integral part of your vehicle’s<br />
suspension system, shock absorbers keep your ride smooth, even over gravel roads, small<br />
potholes, railroad tracks and other roadway obstacles. Modern shock absorbers help<br />
reduce your vehicle’s natural inclination to bounce, roll and sway. In their simplest<br />
form, shock absorbers are hydraulic (oil) pump like devices that help to control the<br />
impact and rebound movement of your vehicle's springs and suspension. Along with<br />
smoothening out bumps and vibrations, the key role of the shock absorber is to ensure<br />
that the vehicle’s tyres remain in contact with the road surface at all times, which<br />
ensures the safest control and braking response from your car .Essentially, shock<br />
absorbers do two things. Apart from controlling the movement of springs and suspension,<br />
shock absorbers also keep your tyres in contact with the ground at all times. At rest<br />
or in motion, the bottom surface of your tyres is the only part of your vehicle in<br />
contact with the road. Any time that a tyre's contact with the ground is broken or<br />
reduced, your ability to drive, steer and brake is severely compromised. Shock<br />
absorbers automatically adjust to road conditions because the faster the suspension<br />
moves, the more resistance they provide.<br />

It is intended to prepare a Feasibility Report to install 1000 Pieces/Day (3000 Kg/<br />
Day) Shock Absorber production facility as a Green Field Project.</p>

The absorbent cotton should be chemically inert and soft to give maximum protection and should not cause irritation. These properties can be achieved by manufacturing the product as per standard method of manufacture.</p>
<p>The raw cotton is processed by series of steps which render the cotton hydro-phallic in character and free from external impurities needed to be fit for use in surgical dressings and personal hygiene. Absorbent Cotton is also used for making conventional type of Sanitary napkins or pads besides medical purposes. <p>Surgical Bandages are the products manufactured from White Bleached Cotton gauge Cloth of suitable quality. These are available in various widths of running from 2.5cm to 15cms and of length from 3 meters or 4 meters. These are packed in a unit of doz. for sale.</p>
<p>These are mainly used in hospital/Dispensaries for tying the wounds after dressing.</p>
<p>Surgical Cotton is mainly used for cleaning and dressing the wounds by Doctor and Jauhrus's. It is also used by Tailors for putting pads in Woolen Suits etc. and making Novalties items by artists. Of course the Doctors consume the maximum quantity of Surgical Cotton produced in India. In present much advanced time the numbers of doctors are increasing drastically thereby increasing demand for surgical cotton at very fast rate. It also carried a good potential. Medium staple cottons, Bonde was to from cotton Mills or Linters from spinning Mills are used as raw materials for the manufacture of this product. To manufacture surgical cotton anyone of these three materials may be used separately or farely economical blend produce good quality surgical cotton.</p>
<p>Cotton Raw material is cleaned and washed and bleached and sterilized properly by undergoing through a series of processes and render Hydrophile in character by sides rendering it petty free from external organic impurities.</p>
<p>Doctors, Vaidyas and other medical parishioners require surgical cotton and bandage for dressing ulcers and wounds etc. Surgical cotton and bandage are extensively used in hospitals, dispensaries and other institutions where treatment facilities are provided. With the spread and increase of health services in rural and urban areas as well as in the standard of living the demand for this product is increasing year after year. The present policy of the government is to reserve its manufacture for small scale. The small scale unit does not require a license for its production. Lint Cotton (ginned virgin cotton), Cotton Linters, comber cotton and various processed cottons generally available in India are the materials used to make surgical cotton or absorbent cotton and bandage. Lint cotton and comber cotton are used for high quality and long fibre cotton and bandages. Processed cotton materials and cotton linters are used mostly for low cost filler materials in dressings.</p>
<p>The surgical bandages include the manufacture of bandages, rolled bandages, absorbent gauge and medicated gauge. In the field of surgical operations these items are indispensable. These are made of very fine and plain woven cotton cloth. The raw material required for the manufacture of surgical bandages is the bandage cloth is not readily available in the market. According to the needs and requirement for one's own item of manufacture one should arrange with local weavers for the weaving of cotton bandage cloth.</p>
<p>Cotton goods are made soft and absorbent by frequent washing with soap and chemical bleaching or drying in the sun. The processing removes the natural oils and waxes of the cotton fibers so that the water proof quality is lost. Generally about 15% of the raw cotton is removed in the treatment to render it suitable for surgical uses and this treatment is essentially the same for both absorbent cotton and the woven gauge.</p>
<p>The adhesive plaster or bandage is used to cover non-serious wound or cut in the skin. It is formed by a basic layer of plain fabric coated with the adhesive material. There are several factors that affect the performance of the produced adhesive bandage. One of the frequent reported problems is the strong engagement with the skin that causes severe pain to the patient when it is removed from the skin. The peel test is used to determine the force required to remove the bandage from the skin, tissue or other adhesive tape. The aim of research is to study the factors that affect the performance of adhesive bandage—starting from the raw fabric used and some of the manufacturing machine settings (speed, slit knife height). An attachment was made to test the peeling force of adhesive tape on an ordinary tensile testing device. Results show that the storage of the adhesive bandage tape is the most significant factor that affects the mechanical properties of the adhesive tape.</p>
