					<description><![CDATA[<p>Utensils are very important to a household and society because we cannot live without eating so we cannot do without utensils. In fact, the utensils that are used to cook food often do more than just holding food. Quality of food, social status and etiquettes are also reflected in the kind and types of utensils used. People from the ancient time began to learn how to make cooking utensils to cook food. Cultural evolution and development of distinct societies has led to remarkably different and distinct food preferences, eating habits and customs, choice of food and serving styles. This has led to development of distinct kinds of utensils in every culture, throughout the world. Although superficially utensils across the world might come in varied designs and even more diverse sizes and of different materials, but the basic purpose of utensils remains same. Utensils are broadly classified as cookware and kitchenware.</p>
<p>Stainless steel cookware and bakeware is exceptionally durable. Once stainless steel has been stamped, spun or formed into utensil shape, it takes an extremely hard blow to dent it. Its attractive finish won’t corrode or tarnish permanently, and it’s hard, tough, nonporous surface is resistant to wear. Extremely smooth and scratch resistant, stainless steel utensils take an excellent polish.</p>
<p>Top-of-the-range cookware, bakeware, pantryware, tools and other equipment are frequently produced in stainless steel, which eases the work of homemakers.</p>
<p>Like other steels, stainless steel is an alloy—a combination of iron and other metals. What makes it different from other steels, however, is that it contains at least 11 percent chromium. It is chromium that makes steel “stainless” all the way through.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">(A) PEB<br />
"Pre-engineered steel buildings" are those which are fully fabricated in the factory after designing, shipped to site in CKD(completely knocked down) condition; and all components are assembled and erected at site with nut-bolts, thereby reducing the time of completion.</p>
<p>Pre–engineered means, generally speaking, is any part of a structure that is manufactured prior to its arrival on the building site. The concept of the pre-engineered building (PEB) is one where the fabrication is completed in a controlled environment with the latest technology, and then subsequent erection is carried out.</p>
<p>Technological improvement over the year has contributed immensely to the enhancement of quality of life through various new products and services. One such revolution was the pre engineered buildings. Through its origin can be traced back to 1960’s its potential has been felt only during the recent years. This was mainly due to the development in technology, which helped in computerizing the design and design.</p>
<p>Though initially only off the shelf products were available in these configurations aided by the technological development tailor made solutions are also made using this technology in very short durations. A recent survey by the Metal Building Associations (MBMA) shows that about 60% of the non residential low rises building in USA are pre engineered buildings.</p>
<p>Although PEB systems are extensively used in industrial and many other non residential constructions world wide, it is relatively a new concept in India. These concepts were introduced to the Indian markets lately in the late 1990’s with the opening up of the economy and a number of multi nationals setting up their projects. The market potential of PEB’s is 1.2 million tones per annum. The current pre engineered steel building manufacturing capacity is 0.35 million tones per annum. The industry is growing at the compound rate of 25 to 30 %.</p>
<p>With respect to design of the structure and aesthetic appearance India is way behind. Indian manufacturers are trying to catch up; comparatively PEB’s is a new concept in India. Beside, in fabrication and other areas of PEB India is very good. As compared to other countries Indian codes for building design are stringent but safer. IS standards are upgraded continuously. In India, American codes are also followed.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">     Hinges have extensive applications in joining doors, windows and  similar other structures requiring a movement of  one  flank with  respect to a fixed frame. In housing, the door  flanks  can have an angular movement with respect to the door frames of  wood or steel or aluminium. Its  function is to joint one part to  the other. Versatile of operation of hinges have played a great  role mechanization  and  modernisation  in  present  mechanised  life. Hinges  are  extensively used  in safes, almirahs, boxes  of  all sizes, machines covers etc.</p>
<p>Mild steel  is  extensively being  used  for  manufacturing hinges  for  all purposes but brass, S.S. and Aluminium<br />
hinges have also been manufactured  because  of  their   respective properties,  uses  and  applications.  Though  the<br />
manufacturing  process  is same for all materials of hinges yet  some  balancing equipments are needed to be added with the  main machineries when material changes.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">             The   transmission  line  towers  are  comparatively   light structures  and the maximum wind pressure is the  main  criterion for  their design.  The concurrence of earth quake &#38;  intensified wind pressures may also be considered in the earth quake -  prone areas for design of the overhead transmission line towers.  These towers  are  fabricated  by means of  bolted  joints  only.   The structural  steels  of well specified quality only  are  used  in construction   of   transmission  line  towers  to   ensure   the permissible   stresses  and  other  design  details.    Practices followed in material selection, design, fabrication, testing  and must suit the field conditions of this country.</p>
<p>Various  design considerations are adopted in the design  of self-supporting  steel lattice towers for  overhead  transmission lines,   including  loads,  combination  of  loads,   permissible stresses, wind pressures likely to be experienced during  service and atmospheric corrosion intensity.</p>

<p><strong>[CODE NO. 1546]  </strong></p>
<p>Stainless Steel Kitchen Sinks as the name suggests are made of stainless steel.  Sinks are the vessels used in houses and hotels, restaurants for cleaning  dirty  utensils, used for cooking, serving  tea and coffee etc. and eating  meals,  break fasts, refreshments need to be anti-rust and strong, and hence and made of  stainless steel. The sinks are used where the utensils carry lot of fat and other stick substances on the surfaces and require full dealing with detergents. There are more than 70 standard types of stainless steel.</p>
<p>Generally, all are iron based, with 12 to 30% chromium and 0 to 22% nickel.</p>
<p>Austenite stainless steel are most corrosion resistant. They contain 16 to 26% chromium and 6 to 22% nickel. The more famous 18:8 stainless steel contained 18% chromium and 8% nickel. These steels are tough and ductile.</p>
<p>They are to be fabricated by all standard methods.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">
The  process  of plastically deforming metal by  passing  it between  rolls is know as rolling.  This is the most widely  used metal working process because it tends itself to high  production  and  close  control of the final product.    In  deforming  metal between rolls, the work is subjected to high compressive stresses from squeezing action of the rools and so surface shear  stresses  result  from the friction between the rolls and the  metal.   The frictional forces are also responsible for drawing the metal into the rolls.</p>
