The Bright bars are basically the raw material for a number of industries engaged in the manufacture of items such as bolts, nuts, shafts Iron bar etc. By virture of the finished surface, which is smooth and with in the designed tolerances bright bars are normally drawn round, square pentagonal or hexagonal.

In is proposed to define briefly a rolling mill we are concerned mainly with hot rolling mill, that is mill in which the steel is heated to a suitable temperature before rolling takes place.

A hot mill, mill stand consists of two three or more cylindrical metal rolls usually mounted horizontally in bearing at their ends and vertically above each other. If there are two rolls in the mill is called 2 high, and three rolls, 3 high and soon. These rolls may be driven through couplings at their ends by spindles which, are in their turn, coupled to pinious (orgeors) which transmit the power from the prime move (now usually an electric motor though some steam or gas engines are still in use.)

The use of the terms wobbler and "coobler box" for the coupling at each end of the spindle suggests a rather loose fillings coupling per mitting a limited vertical movement of the rolls whilst transmitting the driving power.

uPVC Windows are widely used across the globe, from the deserts of Arizona to the coldest parts of Scandinavia/Russia, from the hot environs of Gulf to the tropics of Malaysia, Thailand as well as very extensively in China, S. Korea, Taiwan and many more Geographies. In fact Europe and North America predominantly use only
UPVC Windows in their residential constructions, for both new and replacement. This is due to their good aesthetics, durability, noise proof ness, low maintenance requirement, best air & water tightness, and their ability to provide excellent thermal insulation, thereby helping save air¬ conditioning power costs in homes, offices and
commercial centers. UPVC Windows come with a very high ¬quality surface finish, soft-contoured profiles and a variety of styles to meet the needs of the most demanding architects, designers and users. The environmental benefit of using UPVC Windows instead of wood and metal windows is phenomenal. Due to their ability to conserve energy throughout their life¬time (from raw¬material stage to in¬use stage), UPVC Windows are recognized as Green Windows thereby scoring over traditional wood and metal windows. UPVC Windows are the best fit for all weather conditions prevalent across India ¬ from salty humid corrosive air of coastal areas to sub¬zero temperatures of Ladakh to heavy rains of Cherrapunji to the hot dust storms of Central India to the cyclonic gale winds of Orissa coast to the extremely hot deserts of Thar in Rajasthan.

Windows are the connection between rooms and the outside world. They allow light and air into the house and enable you to see the world outside while protecting from wind, harmful rays of sun and rain. They keep us warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Hinges have extensive applications in joining doors, windows and similar other structures requiring a movement of one flank with respect to a fixed frame. In housing, the door flanks can have an angular movement with respect to the door frames of wood or steel or aluminium. Its function is to joint one part to the other. Versatile of operation of hinges have played a great role mechanisation and modernisation in present mechanised life. Hinges are extensively used in safes, almirahs, boxes of all sizes, machines covers etc.

Mild steel is extensively being used for manufacturing hinges for all purposes but brass, S.S. and Aluminium hinges have also been manufactured because of their respective properties, uses and applications. Though the manufacturing process is same for all materials of hinges yet some balancing equipments are needed to be added with the main machineries when material changes.

Loss of fluid and loss of pressure in hydraulic and preumatic devices are prevented by the proper design and use of seals, packagings and gaskets. Seals fall in two major classes: (1) Static and (2) Dynamic.

Static seals or gaskets are used to prevent the flow of fluid across a static joint between two parts of a pressure vessel. For example the gasket between the cylinder head and cylinder block of an automible engine, is a static seal or gasket.

International steel making capacity is estimated to have reached 2.36 billion tons in 2013-14 and is projected to increase to 2.66 billion tons by 2017-18. Non -OECD economies will continue to lead the capacity expansion in the global steel industry, with their share of world capacity expected to increase to 72.6% in 2017. China has been the largest EAF steel producer in the world since 2007-08 and its EAF crude steel production reached a record high of 73.0 mmt, corresponding to 16.1% of global crude steel production via the EAF process. There is a good demand of steels in India.

In rolling mills, intermediate steel products are given their final shape and dimension in a series of shaping and finishing operations. The usage of, hot rolling processes more tonnage than other production process, and cold rolling processes, the most tonnage out of all cold working processes. There is a huge demand of Rolling Mills in India. EIRI have prepared the Rolling Mill project report for setting-up the unit. Roll stands, holding pairs of rolls, are grouped into rolling mills that can be quickly process metal, typically steel, into products such as structural steel, bar stock & rails. Many steel rolling mills have rolling mill divisions that convert the semi-finished casting products into finished products. Many of the slabs are heated in reheating furnaces and rolled into final shape in hot– or cold–rolling or finishing mills. Steel production in India is forecast to double by 2031, with growth rate estimated more than of 10% in Finacial Year 2018, To achieve steel capacity build-up of 300 million tons/ annum (MTPA) by 2030, India would need to invest US$ 156.08 billion by 2030-31. The Project Report shall be covering all the following mentioned contents. While some products (e.g. reinforcement bars, steel plates) only require hot-rolling, some others may require both hot– and cold–rolling (steel for cars and white-goods).

We are fully capable to prepare the Customized project report on this unit for domestic and international clients.

Welded wire fabric is made from a series of steel wires arranged at right angles and electrically welded at all steel wires crossings. Welded wire fabric, also known as WWF, can be used in slab-on-ground slabs, where the ground has been well compacted. A heavier fabrication of welded wire fabric can be used in walls and structural floor slabs. This is commonly used in road pavements, box culverts and drainage structures, and small concrete canals.

Reinforcing steel bars are used to help concrete withstand tension forces. Concrete by nature is sufficiently strong to compression forces, although tension forces can crack concrete. Deformed re-bars on reinforcing steel was made a standard requirement since 1968, however, plain re-bars are also used in situations where the reinforcing steel is expected to slide as usually installed in highway pavement and in segmental bridges. The deformed patter on a rebar will help the concrete to adhere to the reinforcing steel surface. The pattern on a deformed bar is not specified, however, the spacing, and the height of the ‘bumps’ is regulated.
