INDIAN RUBBER INDUSTRY

Brick  are  produced  in almost all towns  and  villages  in India, and organised bricks fields are found in the  neighborhood of  large cities. Refractory bricks, a special class  of  bricks, are included under refraction.

Bricks are made of earth or natural clay fly ash, sand  dust which should be sufficiently plastic and should not shrink, crack or  warp  during  drying and burning. Iron oxide in  the  clay  is responsible  for  the characteristics red colour of  Bricks,  and excess of it gives them a bluish black colour.
